- noun
- A raw material or primary agricultural product that can be bought and sold, such as copper or coffee.

- noun
- make an unsolicited call on (someone), by phone or in person, in an attempt to sell goods or services.
- Example: We were cold-called by a company offering savings on our phone bill.

- Make (a company or organization) smaller by eliminating staff positions.
- Example: many companies are downsizing their workforces to cut production costs

- noun
